STEPN creator unveils Gas Hero game with $431,400 contest

Find Satoshi Lab (FSL), the team behind the blockchain-powered fitness app STEPN, has launched their latest project – Gas Hero. The game, set in a post-apocalyptic world devastated by artificial intelligence, aims to combine strategy, decentralized elements, and community engagement.

Stepn, the innovative mobile “move-to-earn” game that rewards users with crypto tokens for physical activity, has taken a groundbreaking leap in the blockchain world. The app has unveiled its in-app marketplace for NFT sales, accessible within its iOS app for Apple's iPhone.

The new collaboration sets a significant milestone for both the Web3 gaming project and the tech giant. Web3-focused lifestyle project Stepn has announced today its integration of Apple Pay to enable in-app digital asset purchases.

Stepn, a fitness application utilizing blockchain technology to reward users with cryptocurrency, revealed its users can now transact in Stepn's digital assets within the app, eliminating the need for an external marketplace. Describing this development, Stepn's Chief Operating Officer Shiti Manghani stated in an interview with The Block, “It is a very, very big step.

The crypto space has been cordial to budding projects in the industry. A number of which cater to diverse sectors of the business. One such project is STEPN, which has taken the business by storm, with its unique approach. STEPN is a web3foundation lifestyle application, which holds elements of SocialFi and GameFi.

As part of its New Horizon initiative, popular play-to-earn gaming platform STEPN conducted an airdrop for its Genesis holders in February. However, as interest in the blockchain-based game wanes, key growth metrics continue to decline.

STEPN's bull run continues as the price of GMT tokens has just gone up 8% to $0.471 in the last 24 hours. This marks another significant milestone for the digital currency, which has seen its value increase exponentially in recent months. 

Bitcoin faced rejection at the $17.3k short-term resistance zone. It slipped below the $17k mark, and altcoins faced selling pressure in the past couple of days as well. STEPN token GMT has witnessed a strong bearish trend in recent months. The next couple of days were likely to see losses too.
