Non-profit linked to Stellar co-founder Jed McCaleb invests $500M in AI chips

A non-profit organization linked to Stellar co-founder and executive Jed McCaleb intends to offer an AI chip rental service, Reuters reported on Oct. 30. The startup in question, Voltage Park, has reportedly purchased 24,000 Nvidia H100 chips valued at $500 million.

The Stellar Development Foundation recently became a member of the Bytecode Alliance, the key group championing the progress of WebAssembly, more commonly known as Wasm. An announcement on August 21 by Tomer Weller, the foundations product leader, brought this information to light.
