Un ricercatore di Ethereum (ETH), Marcello Bardus, ha proposto un progetto che consentirebbe agli utenti di trasferire valore tra le versioni PoW e PoS di Ethereum post-Merge. Bardus si è rivolto a Twitter per condividere un progetto tecnico eccentrico, ovvero un protocollo progettato per spostare le monete EthereumPoW (ETHW) su Ethereum proof-of-stake.
