Cream Finance exploiter moves $3.3M ETH in January

Blockchain analytical firm Peckshield tweeted that the Cream Finance (CREAM) exploiter transferred 365.7 ETH — worth $600,000 — to an unknown centralized crypto exchange TradeOgre on January 30.

Blockchain security firm PeckShield identified three wallets that converted 63,860 staked Ethereum (stETH) — roughly $90 million — to Ethereum (ETH) when the stETH/ETH peg dropped to a monthly low between May 2022 and June 2022.

A recent survey by CoinShares, which claims to be “Europe's largest digital asset investment and trading group,” sought to gain insight into the thoughts and actions of professional investors in the digital asset space.

Recent Ethereum price analysis shows that the ETH/USD pair has registered gains of more than 1.02% over the past few hours. The pair opened at $1,567  which was a sign of the bears taking control of the market.

Since the merge, validators have been able to contribute to network security by staking their Ethereum [ETH]. However, the total amount of ETH that has been staked has increased and now stands at a record high.

Ethereum price analysis indicates ETH is continuing to hold above the $1,500 psychological level, maintaining its position above a key support level. The price of ETH has been on an uptrend as the overall market rally slows down.

A mysterious Ethereum ($ETH) whale has moved a whopping 3.3 trillion tokens of the meme-inspired cryptocurrency Shiba Inu ($SHIB) in an eye-popping transaction that saw the funds relocated to an unknown wallet.

Ethereum price analysis shows a relatively bearish trend as the sellers ruled the market during the day. The coin value has been reduced up to a $1,583 low, and further devaluation is quite evident in the next few days.

Digital assets manager CoinShares says most institutional investors believe one crypto asset has the most growth potential this year. In the latest Digital Asset Quarterly Fund Manager Survey, CoinShares says there is a 20% increase in bullish sentiment among investors for smart contract platform Ethereum (ETH).

Bitcoin is the path builder for Ethereum and other major altcoins as most of the cryptocurrencies follow the path of Bitcoin price.  Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency. After Ethereum hit a high of $1,673 on Jan 21, the lead altcoin started its downward journey and has been struggling for a major push since then.
