Ethereum price analysis is bullish today as we have seen a strong drop and a lower low set at $1,500. However, sellers are likely exhausted now, meaning that a move higher should follow soon.

Binance and Coinbase, two of the worlds largest crypto platforms, will be temporarily suspending Ether (ETH) and ERC-20 transactions sometime next month. The move is aimed at providing stability as the Ethereum network transitions from a Proof-of-Work (PoW) to a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism also known as The Merge.

Recently, crypto investment firm Pantera Capital took a closer look at Ethereum's upcoming “Merge” upgrade, which marks the Ethereum network's transition from proof-of-work (PoW) to proof-of-stake (PoS).

The Ethereum (ETH) blockchain saw a surge in investor interest, as people are hopeful of profits with the upcoming ETH Merge.  A short while back, Ether soared to a two-month high after its developers successfully completed the final rehearsal for the upgrade.

Crypto analytics firm Santiment is issuing an alert to traders, warning Ethereum (ETH) may be facing an increase in bearish momentum. In a new report, Santiment says Ethereum is tightly following the price action of the S&P 500 amid a bleak macro environment. “ETH continues to follow very closely with the S&P as global uncertain remains.

Ethereum price appears to be closer to registering yet another massive fall of more than 7% to 10% during the weekend as the latest market sentiments turn bearish. The crypto space was left drained soon after the Fed Chairman, Jerome Powell spoke at a conference, assuring stringent measures to curb the raising inflation.

The highly awaited merger of Ethereum will be launched on 6 September with the Bellatrix update. It will mark the official transition to a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism as it will be activated on the Beacon Chain.  However, a report from DappRadar states that the Merge is likely to negatively impact DeFi Protocols and Stablecoins.

The terms of services, laid down by Ethereum's second-biggest host Hetzner, prohibits customers from running nodes, mining and farming, plotting, storage of blockchain data and trading.
