Ripple: STASIS Integrates Biggest Euro Stablecoin On The XRP Ledger

The largest euro-backed stablecoin in the crypto ecosystem is now available on Ripple's XRP Ledger (XRPL). According to the STASIS team, the integration on the XRPL, which began in February, was completed yesterday.

Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has filed an amicus brief in support of Ripple Labs in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) lawsuit over xrp. Coinbase's support is seen as a significant step in the case given that the crypto exchange was among the first trading platforms to delist xrp following the SEC lawsuit.

The team behind the largest euro-backed stablecoin is announcing integration with Ripple Lab's XRP Ledger (XRPL). In a new blog post, Stasis, the company behind STASIS EURO (EURS), says they have completed integrating EURS into the XRP Ledger.

The legal battle between the SEC and Ripple XRP still stands, and the rulings have not appeared in favor of the watchdog's claims. However, after much resistance, the SEC finally released the controversial Hinman documents to Ripple, marking a breakthrough for the defendants.

Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Global Inc (NASDAQ: COIN) has petitioned a federal court to file an amicus curiae brief intending to support Ripple (CRYPTO: XRP) in its fight against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, contending that the regulator has failed to keep pace with the digital assets industry. In a series of tweets, Paul Grewal, Coinbase's chief legal officer stated that the Constitution guarantees that government agencies cannot condemn conduct as a violation of law without providing fair notice that the conduct is illegal and that by suing sellers of XRP tokens after making public statements signaling that those transactions were lawful, the SEC has lost sight of this bedrock principle.

Ripple price analysis is bearish today as we have seen a clear lower high set at $0.465 after a lower low was set at $0.45 yesterday. XRP/USD will likely continue even lower later today as a result, likely to break below the $0.45 support.

After a year of development and testing, Ripple has finally brought NFTs to the XRP Ledger. Chief Technology Officer David Schwartz informed the community earlier on 1 November that XLS-20, which is the standard for XRPL NFTs, is now enabled on the XRP ledger mainnet.

The Ripple vs. SEC lawsuit is evolving daily and taking on a fresh angle as the company gains new allies. According to a recent update, Coinbase had submitted a request for an amicus brief in support of Ripple because it thinks the SEC's case poses a threat to the entire crypto industry.
