Dogecoin price continues to lead among other crypto majors, bringing its weekly accumulated gains to 30%. The largest meme coin spiked to $0.0848 on Thursday but retraced to close the day at $0.0770.

In late September, Cosmos Network held its first Cosmoverse '22, described as the most inclusive Cosmos ecosystem event, with three days of presentations at the Las Palmas hotel in Medellin, Colombia. Despite the bear market, the event had a decidedly positive atmosphere.

Elon Musk's completion of the $44 billion Twitter deal and announcing plans to become Twitter's CEO, reversing the lifelong suspension of users, launching the NFT feature on Twitter, and other changes caused Dogecoin (DOGE) price to rally 10% again today. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin believes Elon Musk should shift Twitter headquarters to Switzerland.

Dogecoin once again proved its strong ties with self-proclaimed “Dogefather” Elon Musk who highlighted his Twitter takeover on Thursday evening with reports of him firing key officials of the social media giant.

Bloomberg reported Tuesday that Elon Musk will be closing his deal to buy Twitter (TWTR) on Friday. Twitter stock rallied 1% on the news, but it seems meme cryptocurrencies will be the biggest beneficiaries of this news.

Dogecoin has been dominating the memecoin sector as it has shown an excellent price potential in the last 24 hours. Dogecoin is currently flying over the crypto space as the Twitter acquisition deal worth $44 billion proposed by Dogecoin influencer Elon Musk is on the verge, and it may make a final call on Friday.

Billionaire Elon Musk is inching further toward his eventual takeover of Twitter and Dogecoin (DOGE) whales are positioning in preparation for the takeover. Musk's deal to acquire the social media platform has been one fraught with roadblocks along the way, but the two parties have now reached an agreement to facilitate the purchase.

Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE) is trading higher by some 33.28% to $0.0796 over the trailing seven days. The timing of the push higher in the meme crypto appears to be highly correlated to Elon Musk's Twitter buyout.

According to a report from TechCrunch, the social media platform Telegram will auction handles for individual accounts and channels. The company has been taking steps to boost its revenue.
