Indian Police Partners With Polygon To Launch Complaints Portal

Police in the Indian city of Firozabad have taken a step towards embracing blockchain technology, partnering with Polygon to launch a complaints portal powered by the Polygon blockchain.  The new blockchain=powered complaints portal allows the city's residents to register complaints without fear of being dismissed or manipulated.

Sandeep Nailwal, the co-founder of Polygon [MATIC] recently tweeted about the growing gaming ecosystem in the Polygon network. As per the tweet shared by the co-founder, Polygon was the biggest blockchain in the gaming space.

The First Information Report (FIR) launched on Polygon allows the citizens of Firozabad to register complaints against the police without worry of it being dismissed or manipulated.

This Polygon zkEVM testnet became available on October 10, 2022, enabling developers to create zero-knowledge applications using Solidity. Polygon is a Layer-2 scaling solution powered by its native cryptocurrency, MATIC.

Polygon has announced the release of its public zkEVM testnet, which will enable developers to test the development of privacy-enhancing zk-rollups in their respective decentralized applications.  The testnet launch is for Herzez, acquired by Polygon for $250 million last year.
