Mantle

Mantle Network (MNT) is a layer-two chain on Ethereum which recently launched its mainnet alpha(https://coinmarketcap.com/alexandria/article/bitdao's-ethereum-layer-2-mantle-network-launches-mainnet-alpha). It uses optimistic rollups to enable faster and cheaper transactions, meaning it bundles many transactions together and executes them off-chain, while still verifying them on-chain. This way, Mantle can process faster and cheaper transactions, while still being compatible with Ethereum.

Mantle is developed by BitDAO, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) founded by Bybit, one of the leading crypto derivatives exchanges. It aims to become one of the main scaling solutions for the Ethereum ecosystem.

Mantle also plans to launch various products and initiatives that leverage its technology, such as Mantle LSD (a decentralized staking service), Mantle EcoFund (a capital pool for investing in high-potential applications and technology partners), EduDAO (an incubator for blockchain innovation) and Game7 (a consortium of crypto leaders and gaming experts).
