NEO Project Partners with Russian University to Launch Blockchain Course

The NEO project is doing its bit to bring education about blockchain technology to the public, as the company announced earlier this week that it had launched an academic course for students of the St. Petersburg State University of Russia. Per the announcement, the course will be centered around software development using its NEO blockchain, and apart from exposing the NEO ecosystem to students, they will also be taught several concepts that are coon to the Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) space in general.

Back in August, the University of Malta created a Master’s Degree in Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT); a course which, according to Malta Digital innovation Authority Joshua Ellus, will help prove a bridge between the legal, blockchain and business spaces and yield to effective communication and collaboration that will move the blockchain space forward. As CrowdfundInsider noted, the course will provide training on several aspects of blockchain technology, including compliance with regulations, business, information, and communications technology, and finance.
