Brave (BAT) Browser’s Monthly Active Users Increases to 20 Million

Crypto-friendly Brave (BAT) Browser has announced that the number of monthly active users on its platform has surged to more than 20 million and its daily active users have also increased to seven million, according to a press release on November 2, 2020. Per a press release by the Brave team, the Chromium-powered Brave Browser now boasts a massive 20 million monthly active users (MAU), while its daily active users have also surged to 7 million, an exponential increase from the 3 million it saw at this same period last year.

Unlike Google and other web browsers, Brave rewards viewers of ads and other content on its platform with the basic attention token (BAT) and also makes it possible for anyone to tip their favorite publishers with BAT. While Brave Browser still has a long way to go before completely overthrowing major industry players like Google Chrome, which boasts over 1 billion monthly active users, the future certainly looks very bright for Brave, as more and more people are getting increasingly concerned about their online privacy.
