Crypto insights firm Santiment says that one Ethereum-based altcoin just experienced its largest surge in whale activity in almost a year and a half. According to Santiment, interoperability blockchain Quant (QNT) had 187 six-figure transactions on January 7th, the most since September of 2021.

According to a report by Santiment, Quant (QNT) has just recorded its largest amount of whale transactions in 16 months. The on-chain analytics platform noted that 187 QNT transactions were executed today, culminating in a value of over $100,000, the highest the Quant Network has recorded since September 2021.

During the intraday trading session on 7 January, there was a noticeable increase in the number of large transactions (over $100,000) involving Quant [QNT], data from Santiment revealed.

Self-acclaimed future of finance, Quant [QNT] has had quite an interesting year since it conquered flat market conditions. Between June and August, the QNT price surged from $48 to $124.

Quant was one of the biggest gainers to start the weekend, as price remained close to a multi-week high. This comes as cryptocurrency markets were marginally higher, following Friday's volatile session. Monero was also higher on Saturday, as the token extended its recent gains for a fifth consecutive day.

 QNT's price continues to hold strong as the bull refuses to give in to the FTX fiasco as price trends are above $100.   QNT's price continues to look weak as bearish market sentiments increase, with things looking uncertain for most traders and investors.
